Africa Energy Officer
Leora Falk is an Africa energy officer for the United States Department of State’s Bureau of Energy Resources. She has held that position since 2013. She advises and provides policy guidance about hydrocarbons governance and electricity access, including changes African governments can make to increase private investment in the sectors. Prior to joining the State Department, Leora worked as a journalist. She has a Master in Public Policy degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and a bachelor’s degree from Barnard College.
