Introduction to the Powering Africa Summit 2022
The Powering Africa Summit returns to Washington D.C. 14-16 March 2022.
The Summit began in 2015 to support U.S. Government stakeholders, institutional investors, private financiers, service and technology providers from North America to come together with Ministerial and Governmental participants from countries across Africa.
The summit’s overarching theme of Capital Flows Underpinning the Energy Transition will look to identify the tangible commercial opportunities brought about through investments in the energy transition and provide a platform for U.S. intergovernmental agencies to promote the latest policies under President Biden’s administration.
This year instead of the usual panel sessions, the agenda streams will focus on interactive boardrooms where stakeholders can come together in a collaborative environment and leave with productive outcomes through enhanced networking. The Summit will also see the return of the popular technology showcase, providing the opportunity to meet with best in class US Energy Technology providers.
The Powering Africa Summit is co-located with EnergyNet’s Latin America Energy Forum allowing Africa and Latin America to share valuable knowledge and experience in developing their respective energy sectors and the challenges of decarbonisation.
