MyHydro is a game-changing collaboration between two US companies, Symbion Power and Natel Energy to provide a low-cost, mini-grid power solution that combines proven engineering with a new, more sustainable hydropower technology utilizing the world’s most fish-safe, low-head turbines.

MyHydro is not conventional mini hydropower because it utilizes next-gen turbine engineering and is manufactured in the United States. 

By unlocking the full potential of Africa’s vast network of waterways, MyHydro captures energy from rivers where there is a hydraulic head between only 2 meters and 10 meters, delivering base-load power to underserved rural communities without a need for batteries or diesel generators at night or in bad weather.
